Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Seer — the student profiles, certification tracks, employer talent search, and everything around them. By creating an account you agree to them.
Last updated August 3, 2026 · Questions: team@getseer.ai
01Who can use Seer
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. Student accounts are for individuals; employer accounts are for people authorized to act for their company.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish — academic history, certifications, projects, and company details included. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal.
02Accounts and security
Keep your credentials confidential and tell us at team@getseer.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our Community Guidelines, or our Acceptable Use Policy.
03Plans, billing, and renewals
- →Student access is offered as a $49/month subscription or a one-time $399 enrollment.
- →Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling keeps access through the end of the paid period.
- →Failed payments enter a short grace period before access is limited.
- →Prices, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store full card details.
Refund eligibility is described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
04Certifications and outcomes
Seer curates and sequences third-party certification content. Certifications are issued by their providers under their own terms — Seer does not issue, accredit, or guarantee any credential.
Seer makes no promise of employment, interviews, salary, or any specific career outcome.
05Your content and our license
You keep ownership of everything you upload: profile details, projects, video introductions, and written work.
You grant Seer a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and share that content on the platform for the purpose of operating Seer — including surfacing your profile to employers when your profile is discoverable.
06Employer obligations
Employers may use candidate data only to evaluate candidates for real opportunities. Reselling, scraping, bulk exporting, or using candidate data for marketing, model training, or credit/background decisions is prohibited.
Employers must comply with applicable equal-opportunity and anti-discrimination laws when using search filters and candidate information.
07Our intellectual property
The Seer name, logo, interface, curation, scoring logic, and software are owned by Seer and licensed to you for personal or internal business use only. No copying, reverse engineering, or derivative platforms.
08Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Seer's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
09Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
For questions, notices, or disputes, contact team@getseer.ai before pursuing formal action so we can try to resolve it directly.
