Community Guidelines
A Seer profile is only valuable if it is true. These guidelines apply to every student, employer, mentor, and partner on the platform.

01Be honest about your record
- →Claim only certifications you actually earned, from the provider that issued them.
- →Present projects you personally built, and credit collaborators and AI assistance where it shaped the work.
- →Report GPA, graduation year, major, and university accurately.
- →Never create a profile for someone else or sit an assessment on another person's behalf.
02Be honest about your company
Employers must register with a real company, a working work email, and an accurate job title. No shell companies, no recruiters posing as direct employers, no fake roles used to collect candidate data.
03Treat people with respect
No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual advances, or discriminatory remarks — in profiles, notes, endorsements, or messages. Feedback to students should be specific and professional.
04Hire fairly
Use filters and candidate information to evaluate skills and readiness, not to screen on protected characteristics. Requests for photos, personal details, or unpaid work as a condition of consideration are not allowed.
05Respect privacy
Candidate profiles, notes, and shortlists stay inside your hiring team. Do not export, republish, scrape, resell, or share candidate data outside the account it was accessed from.
06Keep the platform clean
- →No spam, mass unsolicited outreach, MLM or paid-training pitches, or off-platform payment solicitations.
- →No malware, scraping tools, automated account creation, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- →No impersonation of Seer staff, universities, or certification providers.
07Reporting and enforcement
Report anything that breaks these guidelines to team@getseer.ai with a link and short description.
Depending on severity we may edit or remove content, revoke a verification badge, suspend or terminate accounts, or refer serious matters to the relevant institution or authority. Appeals can be sent to the same address.
