State Privacy Notices
Additional disclosures for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and Utah. This supplements our Privacy Policy.

01We do not sell or share personal information
Seer does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, including for anyone we know to be under 16.
02Categories we collect
- →Identifiers: name, email, account ID.
- →Education information: university, major, graduation year, GPA, certifications, coursework, projects.
- →Professional information: employer role, job title, work email, hiring activity.
- →Commercial information: plan, subscription status, transaction history.
- →Internet activity: pages viewed, profile views, device and log data.
- →Audio/visual: profile photo and optional video introduction you upload.
We collect these directly from you, and from providers that support payments, email, and hosting. Purposes and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.
03Sensitive information
Seer does not request government ID numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health data, or demographic categories such as race or religion. Do not include them in free-text profile fields.
04Your rights
- →Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- →Access a copy, or receive it in a portable format.
- →Correct inaccurate information.
- →Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
- →Opt out of sale, sharing, or profiling with legal effects — none of which Seer performs.
- →Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights.
05How to submit a request
Email team@getseer.ai from your account address, or edit and delete most information directly in your dashboard. We verify requests by confirming control of the account email, and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires (generally 45 days, extendable once).
An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission; we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
06Appeals
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing with our reasoning, and where required will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
