Copyright & DMCA Policy

Students upload projects, writing, and video. If something on Seer infringes your copyright, here is how to get it removed.

01Designated agent

Send notices to Seer's designated copyright agent: Copyright Agent, Seer Interactive Labs — team@getseer.ai (subject line: DMCA Notice).
Notices sent anywhere else may be delayed. We only accept notices in English.

02What a takedown notice must include

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
  • The URL and enough detail to locate the specific material on Seer.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

03What happens next

We review complete notices promptly, remove or disable access to the material where appropriate, and notify the user who posted it with a copy of the notice.

04Counter-notice

If your content was removed in error or as misidentification, send a counter-notice to team@getseer.ai including your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any district where Seer may be found).
If we receive a valid counter-notice we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

05Repeat infringers and misuse

Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. Knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice can result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
