Mentor & Endorsement Agreement

You must have directly taught, supervised, or worked with the student on the work you are describing. Endorsements bought, traded, exchanged, or written by family members are not permitted.

Do not include protected student record information — grades from a specific course, disciplinary history, disability or accommodation details, or anything covered by FERPA or your institution's policy — without the student's written consent. Keep endorsements to skills, work quality, and professional conduct.

Your endorsement, name, and title will be displayed on the student's profile and visible to approved employers. You grant Seer a non-exclusive license to display it for that purpose. You may withdraw an endorsement at any time by emailing team@getseer.ai; withdrawal removes it going forward.

Disclose any financial interest in the student's placement. Seer does not pay for endorsements, and mentors may not accept payment from students or employers in exchange for writing one.

Endorsements that are false, purchased, or written without a real working relationship are removed, and the mentor account may be suspended. Students who solicit fraudulent endorsements are subject to our Community Guidelines.
